The foundation of Hope Gain Engineering is rooted in the profound expertise and technological heritage of our founder, Mr. Cheng Kwai Ming, who commands over 20 years of seasoned experience in Asia's trenchless engineering sector.
Prior to founding Hope Gain Engineering, Mr. Cheng served as the Head of Operations and Maintenance at L&M Pipeline Service Pte Ltd, a renowned listed engineering group in Singapore. As a prominent pioneer in Asia’s trenchless and foundation engineering industry, the group notably secured and successfully executed a massive 270-kilometer sewerage network rehabilitation project for Singapore’s Ministry of the Environment (ENV) in 1997. Subsequently, Mr. Cheng joined L&W, one of the first leading engineering firms to introduce trenchless technology to Hong Kong, where he was responsible for the planning, design, procurement, execution, and final handover of numerous large-scale infrastructure projects.
Leveraging his precise judgment in TBM selection and operation, Mr. Cheng is frequently invited by major main contractors and consulting firms to conduct feasibility studies for trenchless projects, offering highly cost-effective technical expert advice.
